Concert / Indie & Rock Sorry // CANCELLED
Centred around childhood friends Asha Lorenz and Louis O’Bryen, both in their early 20’s, Sorry were signed by the British indie label Domino after developing a reputation as the most thrilling new band on London’s underground circuit. Completed by Lincoln Barrett on drums, bassist Campbell Baum and Marco Pini on synths, Sorry released their debut album 925 in March 2020. With compelling tracks diving into jazz, trip-hop, pop and grunge, the album was hailed as a “near perfect album” (TripleJ), “the year’s most striking debut album” (NME), “a searing debut” (Pitchfork) and “an unusual, sexy take on modern indie rock” (The Guardian).
