“The series of postcards stems from a creative exploration using my printing machines and various accompanying materials. By making the most of common printing hiccups like overprinting and offsetting, new images emerge.”

BIOGRAPHY

Daniel Wagener is a multidisciplinary artist who grew up in Luxembourg and studied in Berlin and Brussels. He co-manages the Brussels-based print studio Chez Rosi with Axel Claes, specialising in art book publishing. Daniel Wagener has crafted installations for the Casino – Forum d’art contemporain during Luxembourg Art Week and Kanal – Centre Pompidou Brussels. In 2021, the Mudam Luxembourg – Musée d’Art Moderne Grand-Duc Jean showcased his piece Ket Baker in the group exhibition Freigeister. Daniel Wagener’s work looks at modern urban development and its societal implications, offering a fresh take on reality through interactive installations that are a bit off-the-wall and laced with humour.
