The power of arts and human stories to raise awareness and achieve social change: that is the common thread running through the events proposed by Time For Equality. The series focuses on human rights and societal issues of our time (migration, increasing inequalities, human trafficking, violence against women and children, and the newest forms of slavery) and on how our society responds.
Each event will consist of a film screening, a photo report or a book presentation to set the context. It will include testimonials by inspirational speakers and a discussion with the audience, to try and answer the question: What can I do?
True to its motto, “Learn, Share, Act”, Time For Equality aims not only to raise awareness but also urge the public to find answers as to what they can do. By initiating a project or taking action, each one of us can be part of the solution towards a fairer and better world; a world in which we would like to live.
