Congés Annulés

Local heroes never disappoint and we’ll prove it once more with this double bill!

Daily Vacation emerged in 2011 as a three-piece band from Ralph Zeimet’s darker electro-rock project Fracture thanks to the influence of long-term collaborators Sébastien Laas (Cyclorama) and Mike Tock (Metro). Heavily inspired by the bright and positive vibes of the early 2010’s chill and synth-wave movements, Daily Vacation have always played with the contrasts between raw and energetic DIY garage rock, endlessly layered moody ambient sequences and somewhat cliché imagery of escapism: beaches, palm trees and piña coladas. Spot on for the Congés Annulés!

Raftside is the solo project of visual artist and composer Filip Markiewicz. Mainly influenced by alternative pop music, Raftside is a hybrid mix of songwriting and electro, but above all an experimental playground between visual art and music. His latest album / visual concept Ultrasocial Pop is heavily inspired by 70s krautrock, 80s new wave, 90s breakbeat and recent events.
