The speakers
Sébastien Robert is an interdisciplinary artist and researcher who develops a practice at the intersection of visual and sound art, technology, science, and ethnography. Through his work, Sébastien aims to create an engaging and evolving artistic dialogue between non-Western perspectives and new technology, challenging our understanding of the environment.
Mark IJzerman is an interdisciplinary artist exploring planetary processes such as eroding biodiversity and warming waters from more-than-human perspectives. Working at the intersection of ecology and media art, IJzerman uses digital technologies to create processes that foster intimacy between us and the other-than-human.
Teena Lange is an independent curator, performative researcher and facilitator of contemporary spaces, residencies and events. From 2022 – 24 she ran SPEKTRUM, a new space for immersion, experimentation, experiences and encounters in Rumelange (LU), with the aim of discussing cultural heritage and the futures of artistic practices. She is in the Selection Committee for Visual Arts for Kultur | lx.
