MEMORIALS channel the spirit of free jazz to create cosmic journeys into psychedelic rock, far out folk and wild analogue electronics, drawing comparisons to Broadcast, Portishead and The Velvet Underground.

The duo of Verity Susman and Matthew Simms formed in 2022 just before the release of their film score work, with two soundtrack albums released on the same day in 2023 – Music For Film: Tramps! and Music For Film: Women Against The Bomb. Their music is incredibly varied yet retains its own distinctive identity and is produced entirely by the two in their own studio, utilising analogue recording techniques, reel-to-reel tape machines and vintage effects.

Continued offers to perform live around the world have allowed the band to discover a new creative focus outside of working to film and 2024 has seen them sign to Fire Records to release their much-anticipated debut album, Memorial Waterslides.

Cyclorama are back with their latest album Kill The Myth. While the former work of the duo around Sébastien Laas and Pierre Reyland was heavily rooted in shoegaze, the new album highlights the group’s psychedelic influences, merging an organic sound and even vocals for the first time. The new album has the particularity of containing one long piece which fills an entire side and can be considered one of the band’s cornerstones. A steady force of the Luxembourgish indie scene, Cyclorama have been around since 2009 and opened for acts such as Oscillation, Crocodiles, Ringo Deathstarr, The KVB, Tortoise, Maserati, The Drift, Avec Le Soleil Sortant De Sa Bouche, Saxon Shore, OMNI, Motorama, Odonis Odonis and more popular bands such as Franz Ferdinand.
