Originally from Switzerland, now based in Berlin, Anna Erhard has moved away from the folk of her band Serafyn and embraced a pop universe tinged with subtle humour. Her songs, somewhere between the spirit of Kurt Vile and early Beck, are an eclectic mix of distorted guitars and lo-fi keyboards. With characteristic nonchalance, Anna Erhard performs mischievous lyrics, setting her everyday life and her wanderings to music.

Storyteller of the mundane, Metz-based Josy Basar creates minimalist electronic music made of catchy rhythms and heady melodies. With community centres and shopping areas as their sources, his melancholy, candid tracks are reminiscent of French chanson as much as of lo-fi synth-pop.
