EN Since releasing their self-titled debut record in 2012, the Toronto-based 3-piece METZ have garnered international acclaim as one of the most electrifying and forceful live acts, touring widely and extensively, playing hundreds of shows each year around the world.

In 2017 Alex Edkins (guitar, vocals), along with Hayden Menzies (drums), and Chris Slorach (bass) unleashed Strange Peace, pushing past where the band had gone before, while capturing the notorious intensity of their live show. This album is much more diverse and varied than anything they've done before, which to their own admission felt exhilarating, but terrifying, too.

"The songs on Strange Peace are about uncertainty," Edkins explains. "They’re about recognizing that we’re not always in control of our own fate, and about admitting our mistakes and fears. They’re about finding some semblance of peace within the chaos." But Strange Peace isn’t merely a collection of eleven uninhibited and urgent songs. It’s also a kind of sonic venting, a social commentary that bludgeons and provokes, excites and unsettles.

At the end of the day, METZ are all about making the listeners feel something, fiercely and intensely, but together, not alone.

HEADS. − collectively Ed Fraser, Chris Breuer and Peter Voigtmann − are a three-piece post punk band formed in Berlin in 2014 by two native Germans and one wandering Australian. They released their debut LP on This Charming Man Records / Cargo Records in 2015, followed by the full-length record Collider in April 2018, and toured extensively throughout Europe and North America with the likes of Nothing, Whores., Dope Boy and Protomartyr. After the successful release of Collider in Europe, Australia and the USA, HEADS. are now planning for a new record in 2019 and continuing touring throughout Europe and beyond.
