EN Los Angeles composer, multi-instrumentalist and singer Julia Holter has forged a reputable identity in the contemporary music landscape by merging pop melodies with abstract composition.
On her latest release, Aviary, the lyrics are interlaced with literary references, Latin and Occitan texts and the music features bagpipes and Tibetan Buddhist chanting.
